These are some
of the many foreign volunteers we have had assist us since 1997.

Johan is a vet from Sweden
and has worked with the TSCWA on 3 separate occasions. |
|
|
|
Experienced
Swedish vet nurse Lisa helped us in 1999
and returned a couple of years later for a second time while
New Zealand vet nurse Julia was the first volunteer to
help in our Laos project. |

Swedish vet
Ylva has helped our
projects twice, first with primates and bears. She next started
our stray dog project at Banglamung. |
|
Other volunteers
include accomplished animal keeper and zoologist Samantha and veterinarian
Richard from New Zealand.
They worked at the Krabok Koo Wildlife Centre with both primates
and bears.
Amy
Rae
is an American vet who worked in several projects in both Thailand
and Laos. She now works at a wild animal project in Ohio. Another
American, Erin, not only assisted
us with specialised veterinary procedures with gibbons, she has
continued to help by supplying us with added research material
and recommending new volunteers.
Vet technician Eileen hails from Animal
Kingdom at Disney World in Florida. In 2000 she helped us in
Laos and at the Banglamung project. Paul is a British professional
wild animal keeper with experience working in several zoos around
the world including time in Turkey on a bear project. He has
helped us twice.
German vet nurse Corina spent a lot of
time helping launch the stray dog project, as have German biologists
Julia and Carola. Experienced Australian
wildlife vet Michael and recent British
graduate Rachel are others whom
have helped push our projects further along.
Apassorn
and Rachan
are two Thai vets who volunteered with us on several projects.
Both worked extensively with bears and domesticated
elephants.
New Zealand vet Richard spent most of his
time at the OmKoi Wildlife Breeding Centre. He now works at a
wild animal park in England. |
